Orienta Sud, located in Southern Italy, and Education Fair held in Cremona ( close to Milan )represents one of the most important student recruitment exhibitions in Italy.

The education fair is supported by the Presidency of the Republic, Senate of the Republic, Chamber of deputies, Prime Minister's Office and European Parliament Office for Italy.

In 2007 the event attracted approximately 60,000 visitors during the 3 day event, of whom were students, teachers, professors, journalists, politicians and authorities. The age of visitors were:

• 16-20 years old - 40%
• 21-25 years old - 30%
• 26-34 years old - 25%
• From 35 years old - 5% (mainly teachers and professors)

The promotion of the exhibition is extensive attracting students across of Italy and the country as a whole. Promotion is through:

Local and national TV and national press Direct mail to all schools in Campania, Abruzzi, Molise, Basilicata and Lazio regions Poster advertising 6x3m and 1x1.4m in all of the Campania Region Advertising on student websites' Advertising road show in Campania distributing fair material and giving life presentations Distribution of a free fair magazine with a distribution of over 100,000 copies Distribution of the free fair catalogue.
