Is the most successful and high-impact international education expo in China. Since 2004, we have successfully organized the Education Expos in China.. The past events attracted nearly 2,000 international exhibitors and over 200,000 visitors, and produced more than 150 cooperation agreements signed on site. In the year 2009 saw a record number of 550 exhibitors from 23 countries, 89,000 visitors also hit the history record of similar events of its kind. The event has got great support from governmental departments, embassies, international education organizations and well-known schools around the world.
In 2008, as being authorized by Ministry of Education, P. R. China, . With the theme of Open-up, Cooperation and Development, and the aim of promoting the international communication and cooperation in education area, the exhibition consists of three parts: International Education Exhibition, Exhibitionof Education Achievements & Olympic Education Achievements in China, and the Exhibition of Modern Educational Equipment & advanced Technology.
2008 Report
The Education Expo2008, organized by Beijing Municipal Education Commission consisting of three main parts: exhibition, cooperation negotiation and cultural activities, the event occupied total 13500 sq.m. area and attracted exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, which included 5 national pavilions: Canada, UK, Malaysia, Switzerland and Singapore.
In the year 2008 the 426 exhibitors took up the total number of 529 booths, among which 135 were foreign educational institutions, which included 82 institutions of higher education, such as University of Minnesota, University of St Andrews, St.Petersburg State University, ETH Zurich and so on; 220 were domestic institutions, which included 36 universities and vocational schools, such as Tsinghua University, China Renmin University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, China University of Politics and Law, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing Vocational College of Electronic Science and so on, and some institutions of elementary education from 12 district education committees of Beijing, in which 8 district education committees attended the event, such as Chaoyang, Haidian, Xicheng, Dongcheng and so on; over 40 were famous educational enterprises and 30 were Media booths, such as Microsoft, Cisco, Tsinghua Tongfang, Beijing Telecom, Aigo, Ozing and so on.

By undercounts, more than 200 pieces of news were made during the expo by over 20 media including special reports by Beijing Youth, Beijing News, and Modern Education News. News Channel (AM 828 FM 100.6) and FM 876 of Beijing Renmin Radio Station, sohu.com, xinhua.com, renmin.com, made 24-hour news-release for BIEE 2008. The Opening ceremony got full coverage and live broadcasts on website by xinhua.com, qianlong.com, renmin.com, and sohu.com, and head page news were made by Beijing Daily and Modern Education News.
Xinhua.com, renmin.com, qianlong.com, sohu.com, ciein.com, edu.cn, and eol.cn made full coverage of the expo, of which qianlong.com and sohu.com made full coverage for this expo. Sohu.com made series of interviews consecutive three days at its front page. By undercounts, 300 thousand pieces of news were released on domestic website during the expo.
